Hyper Light Breaker really shows how much the games industry has changed in a decade

I think that Hyper Light Drifter probably released at just the right time. Indie games were really carving out their own corner of the industry back then, in 2016, and it was truly a year with some (comparatively) massive titles - Firewatch, The Witness, Inside, Cuphead, Enter the Gungeon, Darkest Dungeon, and even Stardew Valley.
